This holiday season, we’re grateful to the many friends and neighbors who choose Amplify to be their trusted financial partner. And because gratitude and giving go hand in hand, we want to ensure that everyone in our community has enough on their plate. In this article, we will share a few details about our upcoming canned food drive on Friday, November 21.
Key Takeaways:
- Amplify will host a canned food drive on Friday, November 21.
- Canned food donations can be made at our Cedar Park, Esperanza, Pond Springs, and Round Rock locations.
- To ensure the safety of our donations, only canned food will be accepted. Please do not contribute any perishable items during the food drive.
- Amplify will provide the donations to Keep Austin Fed on Saturday, November 22.
Where will the canned food drive be held?
Members can donate canned goods between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM at any of the Amplify Credit Union branches. Those addresses are:
- Cedar Park (5001 183A Toll Road, Suite O500)
- The Domain (2800 Esperanza Crossing, Building 2)
- Pond Springs (13050 Pond Springs Drive)
- Round Rock (115 Sunday Parkway, Suite 500)
Donations can be left in the designated areas at each Amplify branch.
What items will be accepted?
Amplify is requesting that only unexpired canned goods be donated as part of our canned food drive. This will allow our partners at Keep Austin Fed to move the donations around within the community and safeguard the health of their clients.
How will Amplify match member donations?
Once the food drive is complete, Amplify’s branch managers will tally up the donations at each location. We will then arrange for an in-kind donation of that number of canned food items alongside the donations made by our members.
Why did Amplify partner with Keep Austin Fed?
We believe in Keep Austin Fed’s mission to deliver surplus food items to members of our community. We also believe in supporting smaller organizations in addition to the Central Texas Food Bank to ensure there are many options available to Texas families. Learn more at www.keepaustinfed.org.
