We take the security of your account very seriously here at Amplify Credit Union. That's why we've created separate procedures for you to recover both your Login ID and your password. In this section, we'll explain how you can regain access to your account by recovering your password and Login ID.
- You can reset your password by using the "Forgot Your Password" prompt on the login screen.
- You can recover your Amplify Credit Union Login ID or unlock a locked account by calling our contact center at (512) 836-5901.
I Forgot My Login ID. How Do I Recover It?
Your Login ID is one of the most important parts of your credit union experience. To ensure the safety of your account, you must speak with an Amplify representative to recover your ID.
If you have forgotten your Login ID, you will need to contact us at (512) 836-5901 as soon as possible. You will then be asked to provide some identifying information. For your safety, we do not give out Login ID information via email or text.
I Forgot My Password. How Can I Reset It?
If you have forgotten your account password, you can recover your information using the Forgot Password feature in online and mobile banking. First, click on the "Forgot Your Password?" (desktop) or "Forgot Password?" (mobile) button on the Amplify login screen.
Then, enter your Login ID in the available field on the next page. You will then be presented with three recovery options based on your phone number and email address.
- Receive an automated phone call from Amplify with a secure access code.
- Receive a text message from Amplify with a secure access code.
- Receive an email from Amplify with a secure access code.
Enter this code on the "Secure Access Code" screen. From here, you will be prompted to reset your password before being redirected to your online or mobile banking homepage.
How Do I Create a Safe Password?
When creating passwords, it's important not to recycle the same combination of numbers and characters for each new account. Experts suggest that the average American now has at least 27 active username/password combinations to maintain. As such, we recommend using a password management system to help you maintain your active logins. My Account Has Been Locked. What Do I Do?
After four failed login attempts, members will be locked out of the system to prevent unauthorized access to the account. You will be allowed to attempt another login after 60 minutes. If you still cannot successfully log into your account, try resetting your password using the "Forgot Your Password?" feature or contact our customer service team at (512) 836-5901.
