What are card controls?

To ensure our members have hands-on control over their debit card activities, Amplify had previously launched the standalone Amplify Mobile Card Control app, which allowed users to do things like set alerts and travel notices, review detailed transaction activities, and lock or unlock their debit card right from their phone. These features will now be available in online banking.

Why did Amplify make this change?

Amplify has been working to integrate your online banking and debit card features since the launch of the mobile app. The Amplify Mobile Card Control app allowed us to roll these features out to our members sooner while we finalized the online banking integration.

How do I access card controls in online banking?

Members can now access their debit card features through the main menu in online banking. Follow the steps below to access your features for the first time:

• Click Menu.
• Click Card Controls under the Debit Cards & Alerts dropdown menu.

If you have previously enabled card controls for your debit card, your card should automatically appear on the screen. If you have not turned on card controls, you can add your debit card directly from the card controls screen.  

Will I need to reset my card preferences?

Yes. While most of your card features will port over to the online banking environment, you will need to reset your debit card alerts.  

Should I delete the Amplify Mobile Card Control app?

Yes. Once you have set up your card within online banking, you can delete the Amplify Mobile Card Control app from your phone. You will no longer need this app to access and manage your debit card features.
